[style news] V's latest shoot gives the world a plus-size shoot not afraid to flaunt its curves

V Magazine's just-released "Size Issue" has been making all kinds of headlines with its boundary-pushing fashion shoots, many of which feature plus-size models not afraid to show off their curves. One spread shot by Solve Sundsbo showcases the nearly-nude bodies of some of the world's top plus-size models, recast as modern day pre-Raphaelite women. Another spread features plus-size burlesque performer Miss Dirty Martini in Chanel, as shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself; yet another highlights a bunch of men and women of different shapes, colors, sexualities, and genders all working it for the camera. Here's hoping the issue starts a trend of embracing diversity in fashion, and not just a one-off novelty.
