WHAT: Greg Hawkes helped define the sound of The Cars and American New Wave with his keyboard. His keys were a big part of songs like "Just What I Needed" and "Moving in Stereo." But lately Hawkes has become an expert in the ukulele. His band the Greg Hawkes Ukulele Trio plays Beatles classics on ukes.
